A.D.D.G. -- A WALKTHROUGH

On each of the pages dedicated to my show at Honor Fraser Gallery, A.D.D.G., I’ve written this as a series of notes to stand in for me
as a walk-through the gallery space.  These words aren’t meant to be scholarly or theoretical texts.  They are descriptions I would give
of the work if I could walk you through it.

THE TITLE AND THE SHOW – A.D.D.G.

The title of my show is a quote from my frequent collaborator Michael Joyce.  It means the opposite of “in quotes”: so, loosely, outside of
quotes.

The show is comprised of three parts: a series of large-scale works on paper called the “Six Portals,” a large papier mache mobile, and
a suite of videos.

The following notes describe my approach to making each piece in the show:

On "The Six Portals"

On the mobile, "A Love That Should Have Lasted"

On the series of videos: babel, conspirar, Ladder to Heaven, Let's, nimbus
